Exes Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Reunite on Maldives Vacation

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are proof that when people say they’re going to remain best friends after a breakup, they sometimes actually mean it. The pair called it quits last March shortly after attending the Oscars together, but vowed that there were no hard feelings. Their statement was clearly true because the celebs were just spotted hanging out in the Maldives.

“Katy was in Dubai and then stopped over in Maldives where she met up with Orlando,” a source told E! News. “It’s a few hours away and Katy wanted to stop there since it was pretty close.”

Another insider explained that the reunion was “nothing serious.”

The source continued, “They keep in contact frequently and Orlando is understanding of her crazy schedule right now. It’s pretty casual between the two. They have not lost contact. They are just keeping their close connection on the low lately. They speak all the time.”

People magazine confirms that while the 33- and 40-year-old were together in the Maldives, their relationship is nothing more than platonic.

“They have fun and love seeing each other, but it’s nothing serious. They are not officially back together,” said a source.

This isn’t the first time KP and OB have reunited following their breakup, though. Less than six months after the split, the famous duo was seen looking quite cozy at an Ed Sheeran concert in Los Angeles.

“They definitely seemed like they were back together,” revealed one onlooker. “They cuddled most of the night. She sat on his lap and they shared kisses. They looked like they were having the time of their lives.”

They also spent Labor Day Weekend together and when Katy was asked if they had reignited their flame she played it quite coy.

“Well you know I think people are in and out of your life,” she said on SiriusXM. “It’s nice to keep people you love around you.”
